For a long time I wanted to create a mini collecti For a long time I wanted to create a mini collection with pieces that could be worn alone or as a set. And where each piece would especially be designed for gifting or self-gifting (Of course!) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I finally launch my « Heart of Stone » mini collection! 🖤💛🩶 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Symbol of love, the heart shape has been used in jewellery for hundreds of years. And while some of us find hearts a bit kitsch or ridiculos, in this collection the heart shape has been reinvented by Nature 🫶🏼 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Inspired by a natural heart shape mineral (stone) on display at the Natural History Museum in London, the name « Heart of Stone » was the first name that came to my mind for this collection, but it is also a bit sarcastic. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Here I am wearing my favorite pieces of the collection, the gold studs and gold pendant set. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If you haven’t done so yet, go and check out my new Heart of stone collection. My new mini collection is launching tomorrow ✨ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ And I can’t wait to reveal it to you. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Several years ago, inspired by a natural heart shape mineral (stone) on display at the Natural History Museum in London, I created the black Heart of Stone pendant. Today Julie Nicaisse Jewellery is celebrating its Today Julie Nicaisse Jewellery is celebrating its 7th anniversary! 🎉🎉🎉 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ And here is an old photo of me wearing my very first jewellery collection. These pieces were made during a 2 years jewellery making course at Lambeth College in London (2006-2008). ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Before launching Julie Nicaisse Jewellery, I was working for an international jewellery brand, well-known for selling jewellery to celebrities. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ At the time I was unaware that I was suffering from endometriosis & adenomyosis, two conditions that were affecting my well-being and made things difficult at work. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I felt that the time had come to realise my dream… And I was lucky to find a cosy little studio just a stone’s throw from my house. And on the 3rd of October 2017, I moved in and launched my business!
