The wedding season is now upon us. And if you’re shopping for wedding rings this year, then this is for you.
The language around wedding rings can feel confusing. Most jewellers will use terms like: bespoke, made to order or ready to ship. But what do they mean for you in terms of timelines, budget and level of customisation.
Here at Julie Nicaisse Jewellery, I offer 2 options for wedding rings: Made-to-order & Bespoke.
Made to order
A made to order wedding ring is when you choose one of my existing design and it is made for you after you have placed the order. Choose a made to order wedding ring if you have found a design you love on my online shop and you want it made in your size, colour and metal of your choice. You can also add a personal touch such as an engraved message on the inside of the ring. The benefit of choosing a made to order ring is a more straightforward and shorter process with a more affordable price tag.

Bespoke
A bespoke wedding ring is a one-off and unique piece that is designed and made specially for you. Think of it as an experience, a collaboration between you and I, to create your dream ring. Choose this option if you want to get involved in the design process. You might want your wedding ring shaped around your engagement ring or perhaps you wish to remodel an heirloom. Bespoke do cost more than made to order rings, this is because of the extra time spend in research and working on your unique design.

Ready to ship
I do not offer ready to ship wedding rings, but if you’re wondering, a ready-to-ship ring is a ring that has already been made, therefore it is in stock and ready to be shipped to you.
